Casbah (159 Nguyen Du, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) — this place is lost somewhere between Morocco and Vietnam, which is the appeal of this venue. The perfect hideaway, it’s secretly nestled up an alleyway so you’ll be mixing with a random crowd of those in-the-know. It’s nice by day, but even better by night. With pretty much an entirely blue color scheme, they’re going all out on the Casbah theme with beaded curtains, mosaic walls and scattered pillows everywhere. With a massive sound system pumping out cool beats and a hidden roof terrace, we’re totally sold. The shisha is where it’s at, and it comes in all different flavors so get puffing. There is also occasional evening entertainment.
